Meal Plan for Week of January 30
Spending goal: $100
Feeding a Family of 4 – two adults, a 13 year old boy and a 9 year old boy
Breakfast Options for the Week:
- Egg, bacon, potato skillets
- Homemade coconut oil banana chocolate chip muffins
- Yogurt, toast, boiled eggs
- Cereal
- Oatmeal
- Breakfast paninis – ham, cheddar cheese, and egg
Served with fruit: strawberries, kiwi, grapefruit, cantaloupe, mango, or mandarins
Lunch Options for the Week:
- Macaroni and cheese
- Greek salad
- Parmesan buttered pasta
- Sandwiches – salami or roast beef with cheese or PB&J
- Fish sticks
- Cheese quesadillas
- Leftovers
Served with fruit or veggies: baby carrots, cucumber slices, sauteed spinach, apples, or nectarines
Dinners for the week:
- Easy old fashioned meatloaf, baked sweet potatoes, broccoli
- BBQ’ed Italian marinated chicken thighs, couscous, tossed salad
- Sweet potato lentil stew (I use canned diced tomatoes and beef broth in this and add kale to it as well), homemade molasses bread
- Chili dogs, chili fries, apples
- Turkey tenderloin, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans
- Tacos with ground turkey
- Country ribs, baked potatoes, steamed brussel sprouts
Snacks:
Tortilla chips and guacamole, granola bars, trail mix
Treats for family game/movie night:
Pizza rolls and Doritos
