Meal Plan for Week of January 30

Spending goal: $100

Feeding a Family of 4 – two adults, a 13 year old boy and a 9 year old boy

Breakfast Options for the Week:

  • Egg, bacon, potato skillets
  • Homemade coconut oil banana chocolate chip muffins
  • Yogurt, toast, boiled eggs
  • Cereal
  • Oatmeal
  • Breakfast paninis – ham, cheddar cheese, and egg

Served with fruit: strawberries, kiwi, grapefruit, cantaloupe, mango, or mandarins

Lunch Options for the Week:

  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Greek salad
  • Parmesan buttered pasta
  • Sandwiches – salami or roast beef with cheese or PB&J
  • Fish sticks
  • Cheese quesadillas
  • Leftovers

Served with fruit or veggies: baby carrots, cucumber slices, sauteed spinach, apples, or nectarines

Dinners for the week:

  • Easy old fashioned meatloaf, baked sweet potatoes, broccoli
  • BBQ’ed Italian marinated chicken thighs, couscous, tossed salad
  • Sweet potato lentil stew (I use canned diced tomatoes and beef broth in this and add kale to it as well), homemade molasses bread
  • Chili dogs, chili fries, apples
  • Turkey tenderloin, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans
  • Tacos with ground turkey
  • Country ribs, baked potatoes, steamed brussel sprouts

Snacks:

Tortilla chips and guacamole, granola bars, trail mix

Treats for family game/movie night:

Pizza rolls and Doritos

*Already had some items in freezer, fridge, or pantry from previous weeks
